Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Junction City Concrete, junctioncityconcrete.com, hello@junctioncityconcrete.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Junction City Concrete website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you do.

If a written estimate or contract we sign with you says something different from this page, the signed document wins for that job. You can return to the home page at any time.

What we do

Junction City Concrete is a concrete contractor in Junction City, KS. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, slabs, footings and other concrete work for homes and businesses in Junction City and the cities around it.

The information on this site describes our services in general terms. It isn't a quote or a promise about your job, because every property is different. You can read more about us.

Estimates and pricing

We give free estimates at your property, with no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure that day, plus the size, thickness, finish and access you ask for.

Some conditions only show up once the old concrete is out or the ground is dug, such as soft or wet subgrade, which is the soil a slab sits on, buried debris or roots. If we find something that changes the work or the price, we'll stop, show you and agree on the change with you before we go on.

An estimate stays good for the period written on it. After that, material prices may have changed and we may need to update it.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We schedule the pour for a date we both agree on, but concrete depends on the weather. If rain, freezing temperatures or extreme heat would hurt the finished slab, we'll move the date and tell you as soon as we know, and a weather delay isn't a breach of our agreement.

New concrete needs time to cure, which is the wait before it can take weight, and we'll tell you when you can walk on it and when you can drive on it. Damage from using it sooner isn't covered by our work.

You can cancel or reschedule by calling us at (785) 530-0068 or through our contact page. If you cancel after we've ordered materials or started prep, you agree to pay for the materials and work already done.

Your part of the job

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to tell us about anything we can't see, such as private lines, sprinkler pipes, septic systems or drainage problems. You're responsible for knowing where your property lines are and for any rules your homeowners association sets.

Please keep people, pets and vehicles off fresh concrete until we say it's ready, because marks and damage made while it cures can't be undone.

Payment

Payment amounts, any deposit and due dates are written on your estimate or contract. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.

If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's settled and may charge reasonable collection costs where Kansas law allows.

Our guarantee and what concrete does on its own

We're licensed and fully insured, and we offer satisfaction guaranteed on every job. If something about our work isn't right, call us and we'll come out to look at it with you.

Concrete naturally shrinks as it dries, so some fine hairline cracks are normal and aren't a defect. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give the slab a place to crack, to keep cracking where it does the least harm, but no contractor can promise a slab will never crack.

Small differences in color and texture between pours, and normal wear from de-icing salt, freeze and thaw, or heavy loads beyond what the slab was built for, are also outside our guarantee. Beyond what we put in writing, we make no other warranties, express or implied, to the extent Kansas law allows.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, such as lost use of your property, or for problems caused by ground movement, drainage you control, or work done by others after us.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that Kansas law doesn't allow us to limit.

Using this website

The content on this site is for general information and may change without notice. You agree not to copy it for commercial use or use the site in a way that harms it or other visitors.

Links to other websites are there for convenience, and we aren't responsible for what those sites say or do.

Settling a disagreement

If you're unhappy with anything, please call us first, because most problems get fixed fastest by walking the job together. If we can't work it out, either of us may bring the matter to a court with jurisdiction in Kansas, in the county where the work was done.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page applies from the day it's posted. Changes don't affect a job already covered by a signed estimate or contract.
